Thanks to this program I can have the chance to transfer some of my credits. One of the best things about this I’ve been able to carry most of my textbooks with me on my laptop. So I didn’t have to worry about buying textbooks and carry those around. Everything’s in once place.

So convenient for me. I’m able to go to work and then leave work and go home and go online and complete my assignments. The teachers are responsive, educated. They communicate with you within 24 hours. They’re right there to help you at all times. I would say go for it. It’s an amazing thing. Its an amazing opportunity.

It demands for me to be structured, paying attention to the syllabus, paying attention to small details within the course content, and to really interact with my instructor. One of the things I find that students don’t realize is how much those instructors are waiting to hear from them. Staff is there to assist students who are not getting the responses that they need and provide tutoring assistance on campus or anywhere else that may be and any information for that matter.

I’m an online student pursuing a business degree. Knowing that I need to actually get a degree to pursue a lot of the things I want do is what’s most important for me and that’s why I’ve come back to school. My favorite thing about online classes is the privacy of being in my own house. It works around my schedule, most of all it’s convenient, and it works for me.

I found Broward College, met with an advisor, and then I started right then and there. If you’re going to consider an online course: deadlines. Keep up with the syllabus, keep communication with your instructor. If you have any issues, there’s something that you can’t read, or you have any questions, you need tutoring - speak to the professor. You have the tutoring online. You have the blackboard with the smart thinking, they give you tutoring through that source as well. So don’t be scared to speak out if you need help.
